Lady Margaret Hall Boat Club

About

Welcome to the Lady Margaret Hall Boat Club

Founded in 1899, over seventy years before the establishment of a women’s rowing division, LMHBC is one of the oldest women's boat clubs at Oxford University. We are currently the largest society in college, with a tight-knit community of around 50 active members a year, and pride ourselves on offering casual and competitive rowing/coxing opportunities for all our athletes. Most of our members learn to row with us, but we also welcome experienced rowers, some of which have gone on to race in the Oxford Blue and Reserve Boats!

Coxing

Not interested in rowing? At LMHBC we value our coxes just as highly as our rowers. If you're a natural-born leader or someone who enjoys coordinating a team, coxing may be for you!
